"I am .. I am from Rockport Texas.
I am Chairman of Special Projects for the Texas Chapter of the Recreational Fishing Alliance.
We represent the interests of the recreational angler.
I have addressed this Commission before, and have little to add but the following:

The current draft of the Beach Access Plan is unacceptable to the recreational angling community.
The diverse Access Plan proposed by T.O.B.A. IS acceptable.

We believe that it is a foregone conclusion that the unfair plan submitted by this Commission will be approved by the Galveston City Council, and very likely by the current administration of the General Land Office,
 ---- with a wink and a nod, ---- and a nudge and a snicker.

But, that will not be the END of this battle, it will just be the beginning.

There is little doubt that this issue will finally be settled by Judicial Review.

The Recreational Fishing Alliance will no doubt adjoin future legal action, and at the appropriate time will seek injunctive relief.
