Seafood Recipes

Few things in life are as pleasurable as a well prepared meal of fresh seafood. Unfortunately, many of us have fallen into a rut of only cooking our seafood in one or two different ways, and are missing out on the potential culinary delights that await us if we will just try them. Below, you will find numerous recipes for species commonly caught along the Texas coast. These are guaranteed to please the most discriminating palate. Give some of these a try, and you will be hooked on them - like a flounder on a mud minnow.
Please bear in mind that many of these recipes are links to other recipe sites on the internet and may take a few seconds to load and may occasionally be temporarily unavailable. Also remember that different species of fish of similar flesh type can be substituted in the recipes. Different names for fish can sometimes be confusing. What some call Dolphin (the fish, not the mammal) is also known as Mahi - Mahi, or Dorado, Wahoo is sometimes called Ono, Tuna is often called Ahi, Red Drum may be known as Redfish or Channel Bass, Cobia may be called Ling, etc.
We will be adding recipes here on a regular basis, and look forward to input from our members. Please share YOUR favorite seafood recipes with us. E-mail your recipes as a Word Document, or as a simple unformatted E-mail, to our Webmaster.
